| Any last minute suggestion for me? Well.. it's at 12:19 a.m. So... let see... I will get Haruka on Monday at a little after 2 p.m. so.. 38 more hours. It is one more day and.. some hours. I am flying Boston at 10:30 a.m. and get there at 2 p.m. to meet Stacy and Haruka. Then flying back at 5:50 p.m. and get back in Boston at 10 p.m. So... any last minute suggestion before I pick up Haruka? Maybe everyone heard me enough!! But I am just a nervous mom... I am really getting excited but also very very nervous. I am dreaming about potty taining, feeding her, and all bunches of stuff.. I am going crazy!!!

| Michiko, if anyone could be more prepared than you I would be shocked! Haruka is going to be so happy and so well taken care of. Haruka can't be going home with a better mom. You have studied and learned from the best of the best here with all our friends on YT. One thing you may not have thought of is her water. Ask the breeder to bring water that she normally give Haruka, especially if she's been getting tap water. Each city processes tap water differenty so it may upset her tummy with all the excitement of all the new experiances she will be exposed to in the next few days. Once you get her home you can adjust the water by mixing the old with yours. It's probably a little extreme to do this but you asked!

| Oh, and make sure you take your camera with extra fully charged batteries! It would be so cool if you can get a picture of the flight attendants and even the pilot with Haruka! How can they say no to her big sweet brown eyes????

| Haha, you are funny, Corinne! It seems like Stacy is bringing me everything. She told me to bring only a carrier. And I have this cute Celltei bag.. so I am all set!! Ya since Haruka is a real picky eater, she would bring all the foods and nutrical and everything!! (I think I will bring it on my own too, just in case) Oh and yes.. I need to have batteries on my camera.. yes. I wonder.. if I could take pics at airport or planes these days. I know it wasn't allowed in Boston for while..

Just take the pictures. If anyone says anyting to you just start talking in Japanese, smile, giggle, hand them the camera and say "You take for me?" I play the "Dumb American" when I go to Japan if the situation calls for it! "Wakaranai~" (that's "I don't understand" for you guys who don't speak Japanese ) works everytime!

| Those days are over!! I would slip and end up saying something in English... I have to think a couple seconds before I speak Japanese now.. very sad thing. Anyway.. what am I doing at 2:28 a.m. in the morning!? I just cannot sleep!!! IF I sleep I would be dreaming a nightmare... on having a hard time potty training her at my house.. or feeding her .. or whatever it is. I guess that is my inner critics that I am even dreaming about. I need to think positive!! "I will be a good mom.. I will be a good mom!! I will teach her !!! She will be the most obedient yorkie ever!!"

| How exciting! I'm so happy for you and I can understand why you can't sleep! I couldn't sleep for a few nights before I got Maddie! Haruka is such a little dollbaby and you are going to have such funfilled days ahead and so many laughs and smiles! Give Haruka a kiss from Maddie and I when you get her!

It will be tempting to let her peek her head out of the carrier on the plane, especially if she gets whiny, but keep a watch out for the flight attendants. Some of them get real snippy about it.

| I've been reading your posts and am so excited for you! You seem to have thought of everything and you will be a wonderful mom, of that I'm quite sure!! Haruka is one lucky little yorkie! Corrine had a good idea about the water. A neat thing I bought for Topher (you might already have one of these) is a portable water bowl. It's made of vinyl and folds up and snaps flat. You can carry it in a pocket. I keep mine in my van's glove compartment and we use it all the time. (Topher goes with us everywhere). I can't wait to hear from you once you get her home! Try getting some sleep now, though, as I'm sure next week you won't be getting much! Good luck...I hope everything goes smoothly for you. |

Ya I already got someting like that. It is a bottle, and it has the tray that pour some water, so it is easy to take it with me, and give water any time. I thought about portable water bowl.. but I liked this one better. Well.. whatever that you feel comfortable.. I guess. So it's a great suggestion.. Thanks This way.. I don't have to pour the water on my pants (to the hand.. then that dripps to my pants... usually)
