| What the heck is he doing???? Ok, I have finally decided to ask my question...when Jeter is eating he takes one piece of food out at a time and places it on the floor. He then does this ritual of rubbing his nose along the floor 6 or more times before finally eating the piece of food. Is this a Yorkie thing? A new-to-me dog thing? Or is he just a bit unique? I laugh at him everytime he eats. It is so bizarre. |

| LOL Buckeye does that too. sometimes he takes one piece, sits and looks at it, then waits for one of the others to get close to it, then eats it real fast. as if to say. "want it.... think not!" they are so funny.

| Hahahaha that's cute, probably just the way he eats his food. My old dog would eat kibbles and bits, and she would seperarte the pieces (take them out of her bowl) and eat one group of pieces at a time. I think it's soo cute! |

| Mitzi does that too. She tries to "bury" her food and then "digs it up". She also waits until I try to get her food then jumps un it. It's a fun game! |

| My Scrappy does that too, how funny I keep his bowl in the kitchen on the linoleum floor and he will actually get a piece of food, walk into the living room on the carpet, eat it and start the ritual all over again. He never eats at his bowl. They are so funny ~ |

| Brownie does the same thing. Sometimes, she'll take a piece, take it to the other room, stare at it and when I want to pick it up, she grab it and run away and eat it. Some other times, she'll fling her food, run after it and keep doing it until it gets soft and eat it.

| Thanks for all the replies. I was afraid I was going to have to put him in counseling. It just amazes me all the personality wrapped up into one little furrball. I can't imagine life without one (or more) of these precious angels. |

| He's normal...it's a yorkie thing. Jolene takes a couple pieces and runs to her bed, buries them, and then digs them out to eat. Then, it's back to the bowl for another round. Biscuit ate out of the bowl when we first got him, but now, he takes his out a few pieces at a time and eats them off of the floor. Guess he got it form her. There is always bits of kibble all over the house, but then, they eventually eat it before I can get the vacuum out!!
