Question: How big is a Yorkie-Poo going to get? I have a yorkie-poo, she is about 5 months and almost 5lbs. Im afraid she's going to be a beast! haha. I would like to know if anybody knows how big they usually tend to get..and how to determine their weight..i hear your supossed to double the weight at 3/4 months and that's what they usually are? It's all new and confusing to me.. I've searched online and can't find much info. I figured maybe one of ya'll can help me out!

Do you know the size and weights of the parents? It's certainly no guaratee but the puppies usually won't get much bigger than the biggest parent.

| Well I was told about 10lbs. Of course Moose just went to the Vet sat, and at 3months she's hitting 3.5lbs. So maybe their weight equally their age Just kidding. But yeah do you have any idea the size of the parents, that's usually a good way to determine. So here's a question for you, does your baby have looooong legs? The vet told me moose looks like a giraffe (which is my fav. wild animal so no big there). I haven't really ever seen any other yorkie-poos so I don't know if the leg thing is a normal or if moose is just taking after me!!

Hello! My Tess is a YorkiPoo and she is now 6 lbs at almost 4 months. (I swear she doesn't look or feel that big to me!) She is not NEAR as big as my sister's 10 lb. Maltese, so maybe the vet's scale is wrong. But, anyway, that is how big she is .... Have a great day!

Do you know if the breeder has had any previous litters? Often times you can ask them what the full size of pups range is to get an idea, also knowing the size of the parents can help alot too.

One of my yorkies, Rocky, was supposed to be 7 pounds and he is 11!! Sometimes you just never know, he is such a great dog and I am so glad he is this big, he actually has the personality of a lab, he LOVES his ball and toys and loves to run and swim. Haley on the other hand was 2.6 pounds when we got her at 6 months and isnt much bigger, maybe a pound. It is really hard to tell with mixed breeds from what I Have seen but I have noticed that small dogs usually stay smaller and large dogs seem to keep growing, so the double their weight at 3 mos. doesnt work as well She is already 5 months so she shouldnt be THAT THAT much bigger, but you never know. We got our maltese at 4 months and she was only 1.6 pounds, now she is 4 pounds! I think with all the lovin in our house they just get big which is fine with me because they enjoy playing a lore more

I have a Yorkie/Poo that my daughter bought for me almost 2 years ago, and she was told he would probably weigh 8 lbs. as an adult but no more than 10 lbs.! Well, at this time, he now weighs 22 lbs! Not exactly what I had in mind but when you get them at 8 weeks old, you get attached and size doesn't really matter! She knew absolutely nothing about the people she got him from, and YES, he does have LONG legs! I tell everyone he wouldn't look half as big if his legs weren't so long! Oh well....I love him anyway! Him & Drake play great together.....Drake is a full-blooded Yorkie that weighs 2 lbs. at 6 months old! Good luck with yours! :-)
