| Growing... What age do yorkie puppies stop growing? My Bella will be 4 months on Sunday is 5 lbs. Both of her parents were 7 lbs. I just didn't think she would get this big, this quick. What do you think....? Everyone's two cents needed, please!

| They all stop growing at different ages. Some stop at six months and others won't stop until they are over a year. Trixie stopped at six months. I think a majority is from 7 to 9 months. I think if you keep track of what they gain over a few weeks or a month, then it will give you an idea of how big they will get. If the only gain an ounce or two in a months time then they are likely to be small. If they gain close to a pound or over than they are likely to be big. She could get to be over 7 pounds or she could get only a little bit bigger. Just track her weight and height each week and it will give you a good idea on when she will slow down on growing and stop growing all together, IMO.

| Ceeby stopped growing at seven months. he is almost eleven months now and weighs the same as he did at seven. My baby, dixie Doll, is six months old tomorrow and she hasn't grown in a month. But, she had a huge growth spurt at four months. |

| Bailey too stopped growing at about 7 months and I am thinking that Morgan will start to slow down here soon. She just turned 4 months on May 27th and is already 3.3 lbs. but I beleive that she will do most of her growing from 3- 6 months and then hopefully slow down. Btw, when are we going to plan a playdate?

| Reuger stopped growing when he was around 7 or 8 months old. He looks like he's gotten bigger but it's just his fur poofing out. I gave him a hair cut and took off all of the poof. Everyone thinks that he's a lot smaller now. BTW, Reuger is a little over 5 pounds.

Mollie quit growing at around 9months and maxed out around 6-6 1/2 lbs. Wyatt is 10 months and I really think he has quit growing as well he is probably around 10 lbs.

| Vets usually say around 7-10months BUT Twinkie stopped growing at 6months. She has not gained an oz. 4months now so I guess she is all grown up. It depends on the dog I guess. Some stop growing early and others a bit later.
