| roxie went to the vet today well guys, i took roxie to the vet today, and what i thought was kennel cough, actually turned out to be tonsilitis =[. My vet said her tonsils were very red and swollen, and thats why she had that awful cough, so he put her on a antibiotic, which i think is ammoxicilin, also gave me some eye drops bc of all the mucus coming out of her eyes and matting her eyes together, something about the tear ducts, and another bottle of kanamycin, which is puppy pepto bismal. He said this probably came from all the pollen thats out, and allergies, but he said he would rather be treating this, than kennel cough, which can be very lengthy. Also shes gained almost a pound since her last visit, shes 3lbs 7 ozs, at 13 weeks! a lil bigger than what i thought she was going to be, but i guess going with a bad breeder you cant expect much out him, trust wise! so then I took her to petco, and go her some more food,a teenie greenie (to try out) and a chicken flavored bone that will massage her gums and teeth for being such a good girl at the vet today. then i decided to go ahead and get her groomed bc she needed a trim, especially around her eyes since she is building up so much gunk, she looks adorable! she has 2 pink bows in her hair, and the groomer said she did great, better than most dogs! i am so proud of her! I Thought the clippers may have bothered her, but they didnt. i had her ears trimmed so they can get a head start on standing up soon. She is exhausted, she had a big day, so shes relaxin on the couch! just thought i would give a update on her vet visit! |
