| Leaving Rocky for the first time!! I am so sad, but excited all at the same time. We are leaving for a cruise tomorrow, and Rocky has to go to the pet hotel at the vet's office for a week (Wed to Tues). This is the first time I have to leave him. I am so worried that he is going to be lonely and sad. The vet's office said that I can be some of his stuff from home along with his food, so I am going to take his favorite blanket, stuffed bear, squeaky duck, ball, bully stick, and a T-shirt that I have been sleeping in so he can be have something that has my scent since he sleeps snuggles right up next to me at night. I have no idea how I am going to handle the separation. I am so use the little guy sleeping wrapped around my neck, I don't think I will be able to sleep while on the cruise. I am going to miss him so much!!! I feel so bad for leaving him, I will have to take him to petsmart and the dog park when we get back to make it up to him. |

| I am sure he will be fine. Enjoy your cruise! We are leaving ours at our groomers in October while we go to Disney World for two weeks. I wonder if my dogs will even remember me.

| Sound like you have a great plan for him, leaving him your shirt is a good idea. I'm sure he will miss you, but I'm sure they have things to occupy him, you'll miss him more, I'm sure.. Have a great time.
