| Size guesses? ;) I'm still out of town w/ my new baby from Hungary. I wanted to get some guesses on her weight at maturity! I love playing this "game" and know it's just a guess, I've got a good idea, but wanted to know what others on here thought. My little girl is now 13 weeks and she weighs in at 1 lbs, 7 oz. What are your thoughts for her at maturity? Do you think she'll reach the 5 lbs mark? Thanks in advance! I'll get some photos up when I get home- |

| My quess would be 2lbs 14 ounces. I got this by doubling the weight which is what you normally do at twelve weeks.

| I don't think she'll get to the 5lb marker. I would guesstimate her mature weight at age 1.5 to be 3.2 - 3.9lbs.

| K9trainer Sorry, I know this is off the wall, but, is this you: http://www.yorkie.org/dogs/pictures.html Reason I ask, I thought I knew who you were, and I know who the owner of this site is. You have one of her pics as your avatar, so I was curious. Did you get a pup from her? Like I said, I thought your name was CJ, but this through me off. |

| Thanks for the guesstimates! I hate that she'll be so tiny, but I'm thinking that you're all right. We'll just have to wait and see. I'm hoping for 4 pounds. Best possible scenario, she'd be 5, but I'm pretty confident that won't happen, unfortunantely. I love her the way she is, it would just be nice and would open up a few more doors for her. In the way of complications, so far genetically she isn't predisponed to anything. I'm waiting on the bloodwork I've had done on her for anything currently being wrong. Heart/eye/lungs/joints all check out so far. We'll see. I don't feel "out of the woods" yet until I get the results back on the elective work I had done on her. In either case, thanks again! BamaFan, I thought I cleared this up w/ you. I'm not CJ. Although now that you've brought up that name to me in a PM and now on here CJ did contact me on another forum. It's interesting how you make accusations about myself when you aren't even a 100% that you're correct. Just relax. I don't know what beef you and CJ have going, but don't involve me. In regards to my avatar: THIS is what is said on the same page as my avatar on her site: "Cynthia Kage Rhapsody Yorkshire Terriers 231-734-3486 © Copyright 1998 - 2003 All Rights Reserved ®" ---> This was taken verbatum from the same page as where I obtained my avatar. As far as I know if she changes her legal statement on the site, it isn't retroactive and so I won't have to delete it. If she would like me to not use it, that's her call and she can reach me at: topsredhead@yahoo.com if you wouldn't mind guiding her attention to this post, that'd be great. All pups are cute, this one too. It just happens to be a good shot. |

| Sorry, but 1) I don't remember ever having PM'ing you regarding anything, 2) if you have not noticed, pictures being stolen and represented has been a concern of members here in the past, which is why your avatar, not being your own picture, caught my attention. Do a search on 'scam' and you'll see why. I think the "please do not steal my images" at the bottom of Cynthia's page should speak for itself...seems you omitted that line from your quote. I think it would be in everyone's best interest if neither you or I mentioned again members who have been banned from this forum...more than once. I do apologize for mistaking who you were and accusing you of that. |
