| My breeder had Tucker's momma spayed after 2 litters. She said she was sorry she did it because it changed her for the worst. She said she is snappy and mean now. I don't know if it had to do with the spaying, I've always had my dogs fixed and I've never had one who's personality changed.

| My little Wee is nearly two years and I'm giving serious consideration to getting her speyed. She's never had a litter and all I want the best thing for her. She's quite a nervous dog and it's interesting that you say Stinky's got more mellow. That's what I want for Dixie. She gets soooo crabby when she's in season - like imagine PMT and multiple it by ten! (I can totally empathise with her tho - I just feed her doggy chocolate and hug her while Dougal cringes in the corner for fear of having his head bitten off - right next to my husband LOL!) Are there any YTers out there that have speyed a slightly older dog? What were your experiences. (Sorry to hijack your thread Stinky! that's the coolest name by the way!)
