| :( How come everyone thinks I spoil my Yorkie so much? I mean yeah she has pjs, shoes and bows..but I don't buy stuff every day! Hell, my dog lives better than some people! Sometimes, it just really gets me down. Am I wrong for treating her better than some parents treat their kids, or should I just ignore their jealously? |

| Just ignore them! I spoil Josie too! She has her own closet full of dresses, jackets, sweaters, shirts, 4 pairs of shoes, boots, jewelry, hair bows, blankies and matching carriers! I love her like my baby. I also look at her as kind of a hobby. My husband buys computer games and gadgets so I don't feel bad spending the money on my fur baby!

| Mitzi is also spoiled rotten and she loves it and so do we. That's the good thing about Yorkies, you can spoil them and they don't end up to be messed up adults. Poeple saying that to you should mind their own business and 'sweep in front of their own door' (saying in Germany, is it used here too?) One thing is for sure: If I'm going to be born again I want to come back as my Yorkie or if that's not possible for some reason at least as my husbands Yorkie... wait a minute... "wife or Yorkie that's the question". Really a tough decision... have to think about that... 'later! |

| Just ignore them! I took Diva to a friends outdoor concert on Sat and since it was her birthday I bought her a nice new pink dress/shirt. I got so much crap from some friends but I just ignored them Our furbabies love us unconditionally and that is why we spoil them, to show them how much we love them. I don't know very many people who would even concider loving some one as much as our yorkies love us. My boyfriend gives me unconditional love and I spoil him too. It's all about how great our babies are and other people don't understand!

Yorkie Lover Donating Member | I say don't worry about it....you are not alone in spoiling in your baby!! We all do that is what they are for, to love and spoil! We get stares and comments sometimes but I just ignore them, as those people will never know the love that a yorkie brings!!

| I think you have to have a yorkie (or maybe a chi or maltese) to get it. The people who don't understand deserve our pity. |

| I spoil Sadie, too. I don't think it's fair that I can't claim her on my tax return. I mean, seriously, I spend as much money on her as some people do on their skin kids. I have food, vet bills, grooming, toys, clothes. OK, so the last two aren't necessary, but I still spend money on them. But she's the only kid I have, and I'm single, so it's just us...of course she's spoiled!

| People say that Max and Abbie are spoiled but I just say, "They are not spoiled--they are cared for." Too many people in this world neglect their pets. Max and Abbie are not "just dogs" to me--they are members of the family. They give unconditional love and they deserve love in return and whatever else they need. So if caring for my dogs means I'm spoling them, then I'm guilty as charged

| Definitely ignore it everyone and I mean everyone says Georgie is spoiled I just laugh and say yes he is. People won't tease you if they think it doesn't bother you, so I don't let them think it does. Which really in my case I couldn't careless what they say anyways

| When people tell me i spoil them too much, i tell them, that's why we have them and they deserve it. They appreciate the littlest things we give them and love the big stuff, they love our loving and they give unconditional love back to us. Along with all the kisses they get everyday i give them an extra few just to make sure they had their share for the day

| I also dont care what people think about spoiling my Harley. He is my saving grace, with empty nest syndrome. I LOVE HIM LIKE A KID>AND if someone thinks I am nuts, well they are giving someone else a rest. I think if you have a yorkie they have to be spoiled they are so darn lovable, just today I put the phone down and Harley jumped up on my chest and put his arms around my neck and was just lovin on me. you cant beat that with a stick now can ya? If people loved on me like he does, I would spoil them to. They should catch on if they were smart, I think everyone should do thereself a favor and love a yorkie to pieces.... |
