| Yorkies vs. Mr. Raccoon..... i was watching tv with the dogs, when all of sudden Lulu and Chestnut starting acting strange.....then i heard some scruffling outside by the door.....uh oh! i left a bag of garbage right outside and forgot to place it in a can! I opened a curtain and there it was, that little bandit.......Lulu and Chestnut jumped to action and started barking and yelping.....Mr. Raccoon wasn't even scared!!! All he(well, could be female), was stare at Lulu and Chestnut (Tiggy was quite nonchalent.....just sat there) Mr Raccoon, "Wait....you are behind the glass i ain't scared....hahhaha...I'm going to dig more garbage right in front of you" Lulu, " I'm gonna get you, Mr. Raccoon!" Chestnut, "Open the door rob, open!" Tiggy, "yawnnn" Well, after five minutes, Mr. Raccoon was done digging through the garbage....he slowly walked away....glancing couple of times back at us...probably to make sure we weren't going to chase him...... it was crazyyyy

| Gosh how freaky! I'm glad we don't have racoons in NZ. It's cute how Tiggy was all "aahh can't be bothered...you two can take care of it".

| That's the way it would be in our house, too. Ginger would be all excited and want to "get that raccoon" and Chester would be ready to back her up if she went out, but the rest probably would just go chase a ball, or play with a rock!! |

| Wow, cool pics, good thing you knew and didn't leave them out, that could have been ugly,I know Bailey would go after him, and they can be mean.

| We live in the country and have woods all around our house. The raccoons will come right up on my deck. I have to be very careful particuarly with Duffy as he likes to go outside a lot. Raccoons can be very dangerous and mean if they are threatened. Some of the men around here go 'coon hunting with their dogs and they say if a raccoon is cornered he can really injure a dog or even kill them. My dogs go crazy if they see an animal. We see a lot of raccoon, possum, armadilla. Last evening, Duffy was barking and barking. We looked out and their were 2 deer in our back yard. I wish he would leave them alone as I love to watch them. |
