| Anyone Make Their Own Cards? Does anyone make their own cards? I do not like spending two to three dollars on birthday cards, thank-you cards, congratulations, mother's day cards, etc., etc., so I always make my own. I decided to put Kodah's pictures on a few & print - my family already thinks I'm crazy!! But I think the possibilities would be endless with some funny pictures!! |

| What a great idea and those are fantastic cards and photos of your fur baby. Ok I now officially have card envy and photo envy going on over here. I see a lot of practice in my future on photo taking. Sydnee will cooperate and pose the only thing is she thinks she just has to sit and look pretty when a photo is being taken. I don't care how adorable a shot is you go to take it and she sees the camera stops to sit and pose. Maybe she was a model in another life?

| Those are adorable! Very professional looking. I don't think I could figure out how to do that. I'm not so hot on the computer. I still haven't taken the time to figure out how to get pics from my camera to my computer!!

| I use Photoshop Elements II (the very basic program vs. Photoshop 7 or CS). I go to Target & pick up some small colored envelopes & then size my cards just under the dimensions of the envelopes. I print the cards out on Canon matte photo paper which is very cheap but very good picture quality. Sometimes I print a message on the inside of the card. It really is simple - I just played around on the program until I got what I wanted. The options are limitless. (I am by no means a whiz on the computer - I taught myself how to do this - so you know it has to be simple!! ) |
