| Is this normal? Anybody else with a male? Hi Everyone, Some of you may know that I recently got a 9 month old male dog. I have never had one before so can you all tell me if this is normal? This may sound alittle weird but oh well... Ok, so his wee wee has some discharge on it often. Like the color of pee but not clear more milky yellow. For instance I will put a belly band and a pad on him and notice that when I take it off and it is not peed on it has a couple of dots of yellow-ish discharge. Is this normal? I also looked at his wee wee when I have him without a belly band and notice there is a little drop at the tip- same color discharge on top of his wee wee. Is this normal or could he have an infection? He is not licking at it or anything... Thanks everyone!

| I know what you're talking about and I think it's normal, as Sully also had this when he was younger. I don't think it's anything to worry about.

| Alphy has this too. I think it's normal. I just assumed I put it on too soon after going potty and it's just dribble residue.

Phantom Queen Morrigan Donating Member | you have to be careful about deciding if its normal or not. sometimes when they get a UTI there will be discharge like this as well. Another sign of a UTI is excessive drinking and peeing, or trying to pee alot with nothing coming out. if he has these signs too then i'd say he has an infection. if not, then i think its safe to say he's ok. as long as he's acting fine otherwise |

| Tiger wears a belly band and it sometimes has small tiny dots of yellow and my guess it is pee . . . he isn't fixed so I wonder if that is the case. I too have one and he is my first so I have got a lot to learn . . . |

| hmmm? Hmm? Well Milo does drink water alot more so than Lucy but I assumed because he is a pup and eats alot of those reward treats when training..? His wee wee doesn't look red or anything on the outside...? Anyone else had a male dog with UTI? What should I look for? Also no, I don't think it was..umm you know, spunk..Lol, ha ha..Although I did notice he was trying alot of humping the other day and stuff and noticed later his belly was a little crusty!! Eeeewww!! Could that have been...? you know...Spunk? LOL ha ha I suspect maybe..didn't look white though...? Eeew!

| Gee yours sounds like mine LOL ! He is 10 months old and not fixed. About a month or 2 ago he got really bad when it came to that. Now it isn't so bad for whatever reason. He does have a little "hump" baby and he takes full advantage of that. It does sound like he is getting to be a big boy! LOL If he isn't fixed then getting him fixed should take care of that.
