| How often do you bathe your dog?? I was talkin to my neighbor the other day,, and she asked how often i Bathe Bailey, I said, " Every Sunday" well,,,, she acted like I was crazy,, and he would get dry skin,,, etc... I said " hes fine" and it makes him all soft and pretty and SMELL good.... so then Im thinking.. is this too often?? Just wondering what the average is of times you bathe your babys??

I bathe Mojo every saturday or Sunday...usually! This weekend he did not get a bath...what i learned is that too much bathing is certainly not good because it deprives the skin and coat of necessary skin oils... the most frequent recommeded bathing schedule would be once a week....

I bathe Snoodles about every week and a half. She isn't outside except to go potty. I know when summer comes and she plays a little longer in the yard, she will have to be bathed more often. I really think it depends on the dog and weather conditions. It snowed 6 inches here this morning, and poor Snoodles couldn't find a place to do her business. She kept squating and then jumping up as the snow hit her butt. It was funny to watch, but finally had to shovel a place for her to go! Pat

I bathe Bailey once a week as well. He's outside playing daily with Dozer, and I like to cuddle with him, so I keep him nice & clean

I bathe mine every week to week 1/2. They get stinky, grimy and greasy looking. I live on a dirt road and its like the dessert out here with the flying dust and it just seems to stick to her. As long as your doggie is fine with getting a bath once a week and doesn't seem to effect her skin, go for it. Your neighbors dog (if she has one) probably stinks like dog and probably the same for her house. I think its great that everyone takes such pride and wonderful care of their Yorkies. I can't stand it when I see people with dogs locked up in a pen outside 24 hrs a day all year round. Now I'm on a new subject! I better stop!! Sorry! I LOVE MY YORKIE!
