| My Jewels had a slight reaction to the bordatello and rabies shot but she was back to normal by the next day. It will be fine i am sure.

| Pixie had a good sized lump at the injection site when she got her rabies shot (it eventually went away)... Other than that and a bit of lethargy for a few hours after, I didn't have any problems. (Make sure there's no lepto in any combination vaccines). I wouldn't allow the vet to give more than one vaccination at a time. That's too much for these little dogs' systems to handle in one day! If she didn't have any reactions to her shots in the past, I would think she would be okay for this round as well.... You could always have a titer test performed instead. If she has an adequate amount of the antibodies, she wouldn't really need a booster. |

| i think i would rather risk them having the jabs then risk them not having them. in the uk you can only have combined jabs were i think in the usa you can have them one at a time.

| I agree. They need the vaccines, but maybe not the boosters every year. We get a combined shot (distemper, parvo, parainfluenza and adenovirus II) here too, but never include Lepto and many leave out Corona in certain areas where it is not a threat. Just never give the rabies and the parvo combination on the same visit. Also don't give the giardia and only give the intranasal bordatello (and only give the bordatello (kennel cough) if you board your dogs). |

| Obviously "jabs" mean shots....... Mine have never had any problems. But mild reactions (occasionally) are common. Carol Jean |
