| Constant Pooping I just had a question... how much is your dog supposed to poop a day? Because Bentley wasnt eating his regular food so we started giving him moist and meaty which the vet suggested and he likes as well as some ground beef occasionaly. Well almost right after that hes been poopin like 4 to 5 times a day. We didnt give him any ground beef this morning or anything and I dont think he ate any food yet and he already popped 3 times and 1 time was right after another. Its not runiny or anything and he doesnt have diarrhea but I just wasnt sure if this was normal cause before he would poop once a day at most twice. Also we were out of town for my bf's graduation and so we had my grandparents watch him. Well when we got back he told that me that he gave Bentley a couple crumbs of his oreo cookie. I almost died! I was like nooo chococlate is bad for dogs!! But he seems to be acting fine I was just wondering about that too... |

| I can't imagine that pooping 4 or 5 times would be normal, but I have no idea. Stewie goes once per day. Some days he goes twice per day, but that is not too often. He eats dry food (Chicken Soup) and gets various treats.

| tye and zac go 4 or 5 times aday, brandi 2 times and annie once but they all eat the same amount, all dogs are different just like people, some the food comes out the other end a lot quicker and more often than the others,i would say its nothing to worry about aslong as the dog hasnt got an upset tummy. also mine have eaten chocolate loads of times and never been ill i think it must take a lot of it to make them ill.

| How old is the dog. Mine poop several times a day, at least 3 and sometimes more. As long as it is not runny, I wouldn't worry. Some foods have more filler in them and makes them poop more. It can depend on how active they are too. Mine play a lot, so they eat a lot, so they poop a lot. A less active dog would not eat as much. |

| Gucci poops once or twice a day depending.. I mix her dry food with wet food, and give her a little human food...cottage cheese..yogurt..etc. as far as the oreo crumbs I don't think that would harm him. Gucci has eaten a chocolate kiss and she was fine. |

| Thank you guys so much! He hasnt pooped anymore today which is good and now he is resting. I think it was just a mix of us being away plus we switched his food right before we left. Its not runny or anything so thats a good sign. I'll keep you guys posted! thanks again! |

| Since we've had Tucker, and he is 13 months old, he has gotten nothing but dry dog food (royal canin). He poops at least 5 or 6 times a day. He poops like a race horse and it drives me crazy. Take him for a walk first thing in the morning, he poops. (this is at 5 am w/hubby) Comes home, goes back to sleep wakes up, poops again. THEN he eats for the first time in the day! throughout the day he doesn't eat any more and he poops maybe 2 or 3 more times. Around 8 pm he eats again, poops 2 more times before bed. He is a machine!

| Dennis did that for a while as well. There was a period there that he was going 4 and 5 times a day, I think it was when he was about 4 to 6 months of age. I would shake my head and laugh and tell him he was full of shi*. He now goes once in the morning and once at night. So I think it is probably normal. |
