| New Puppies My little girl Annabelle had her first litter of pups on Sunday. THere were 3 girls and 1 boy. They are so sweet. I took them to have their tails done today and it was awful. They cried, I almost passed out, and Annabelle was not very happy. The pups seem to be so upset still, they are all whimpering, which is not what they usually do. Does anyone know how long they stay sad? I weigh them daily and so far each one has gained an ounce, the tiniest one started out at 3 oz, and the other 3 were 4 oz's. Thanks to all who have helped in the past.

| I've never understood why some dogs have thier tails docked, and some have the ears cut, why is that? |

Yorkies don't get their ears cut, they get their tails docked, because that is the breed standard. Many people are rebelling against this practice and leaving dogs that are normally docked/cropped, natural. If you're buying a dog for a pet, I don't see the need, other than personal preference... In the show ring, your dog must be breed standard, otherwise you just won't win... | |
