| Boys and Girls or Boys and Boys? In your opinion, do you think Stewie's playmate that I am searching for should be a boy or a girl? I know there's not a scientific method for choosing the second animal's sex, but I would like opinions and input. Thanks! Also, while I'm at it, I thought I would mention that I applied to adopt a 5 year old Yorkie named Garner from a shelter in central Illinois. This shelter is known for being picky with it's placement of dogs and I got approved!!! Too bad by the time I got out of class and returned their call they said that he was adopted. Oh well, I'm glad he found a good home. They told me that they'll keep my app on file in case I see another dog at the shelter I want. I would be interested in getting a rescue dog, but I want to make sure it will fit into my small family first.

| I would say get a girl. Not for any reason other than I think it would be fun to have one of each. My next dog (gasp - next!) will be a little boy!

| I would get say get a girl also. I have a boy and a girl and they have different personalities. My girl is very cuddly and my boy is very playful. It gives you the best of both.

| Get a Girl! I agree a male should be with a female, even if your not planning on Breeding. If you got another male there is a chance of them fighting and being territorial? And unless they are brothers/litter mates 2 males usually don't get along? Well I have both a male and female and even though I've only had her for 2 and a half weeks they are inseperable and very attached to each other they constantly play, they eat together and sleep together. Abigail is so attached to Artie, that when they are seperated she whines/cries for him and try's to look for him. I think you will like watching them together, they are so sweet and innocent looking. |
