| Esme finally did it... SHE JUMPED IN THE BATHTUB! I love to fill up the bathtub and just relax. Usually, when I do this, Esme drags some of her stuffed animals in the bathroom and plays with them while I soak. Sometimes, she will put her little paws up on the edge of the tub. WELL, last night while I was relaxing in the tub, I lean back, close my eyes and PLOP, Esme lands in the water with me!!!! She was able to JUMP in! We were both VERY surprised! So, my relaxing ended very quickly! I had to shower REALLY fast, get out and blowdry the dog before she ran through the house soaking wet. It's one of the best moments I have had as a yorkie mommy!

| Awww, that is SO cute! I'm waiting for that one too. Tia gets up on my kids' stool and looks in. I can just see her getting in with me one of these day! At least you know she loves you enough to brave the tub to be with you !

| I never seem to find time for the bath! In fact I've lived in this house for 18 months and have never used the bathtub!! My teenage daughters use it all the time and take "spa" baths. Hefner and Chai are always putting their paws up on the shwoer door and asking to come in when I am taking a shower. At the end when i open the door they come in and lick the water off me and the floor of the shower. They seem to like the water until it's their bath time!! |

| I have experienced that!! Once when I was in the tub Bailey,, kept racing in and out of the bathroom ,, charging at me in the tub,,, " I knew it was gonna happen,,," and it did, about the 6th time,,, he flew in the tub with me!! He had this horrified look,,, like.. what in the world!! So i figured while we are both here,,, I grabbed the shampoo and gave him a bath too!

| Your babies must be older than mine, Beau can barely see over the bathtub. |

| I was in shock the first time Sydnee decided to bathe with me. We were on vacation in New Orleans and she jumped in the shower, and proceeded to play in the water while I finished bathing, then I had to blow dry her. So I put her in her carrier after the second time. Since we got home I have to have my son keep an eye on her or put her in the carrier while I bathe in the tub, because she jumps in every time. She is fearless, and can she jump She jumps up on the step to the tub (its a marble jacuzzi) and then keeps going till she gets on the ledge, lays down for about 2 minutes and then she is in the tub. I went looking for her the other day (her favorite game is hide and seek) and she was hiding in the tub. I was getting hysterical couldn't find her. My sis in law was going behind me and found her. We thought maybe one of the workmen that were here may have let her out accidentally, because she is so quick. Climb oh my goodness we looked all over for her and found her on the 4 th shelf of the bookcase. Still haven't figured that one out. We couldn't figure out how she was getting out of the barrier we set up for her in the family room, until I was walking around the corner and she came flying off the love seat and jumped over it. My heart just stopped. I think she has been hanging with the cats a bit too long and they are giving her hints and directions on how to get where you want to go and Mom doesn't want you to. Of course the irony is when I go to bathe her you would think I was abusing the poor thing and water was going to make her melt.

| I play with the dog in the bathroom all the time and hide his toys there sometimes. When my wife and I are playing hide and seek with him, the bathtub is a frequent location. My goal is to convince Chewy that the shower is great fun, and to join me in it from time to time. He came SOOOO close recently that i thought for sure he would jump in, but no dice yet. I think this will be the solution to getting around the bath-phobia that has plagued him all his months. Instead of a scary on-the-sink bath, he can jump in with me, get sudsed up and rinsed just as I do, and then it's a fun game! |

Esme hates baths too! When I stick her in the tub for a bath, she struggles with me so much!
