| Anyone else experience this?? Ok so Coco seems to have some congestion issues in her nose. I don't know if dogs get colds or not but she does this weird snorting thing when she gets excited or even out of the blue. It's not reverse sneezing because this sounds wet, not dry. Vet prescribed Children's benadryl allery tablets and i've given them to her for over a day but don't know if it's working. Any ideas/sugestions?? Has anyone dealt with this? It's not serious cause she's still active and eats and runs around, I just feel like she's uncomfortable.

| Yep! Going through this right now ... just finished round of medication and although it's better, she still sounds a little "wet"! The vet said she had a sinus infection [just beginning] and gave her Clavamox, liquid and Triple Ab/Dex Ophthalmic Drops for her little eyes. I had expected it to be gone by now, but there is so much dust/pollen in the air in Colorado that I wonder if it will ever clear up! With the exception of perhaps napping a little more than usual, she is acting pretty normal ... she does snore a lot louder! We are thinking about making an appointment for her in Denver for a little further testing when we go down to the meetup this month. Hope Coco clears up and doesn't have any more problems!

| Poor baby. I hope it's not a sinus infection. How was the vet able to tell the difference between allergies and the infection? yea when I rub her throat it stops. My poor baby, this morning she sounded like a congested sick human adult

| My dogs do the same thing, all 3 of them. They just started it about a month ago. It seems to get worse when we are outside. So my vet said to also give them benadryl because of allergies. Well it has worked, although it did take a week or two for it to work and to notice the differences. They are much better now. I knew I had allergies around this time of the year, I just didn't think that dogs would too!!
