| Morning Sickness???? I have had my 2 year old bitch mated for the first time, she is about 5 weeks pregnant. Every morning for the past 6 weeks I have noticed her eating grass and making herself sick - I know they do eat grass, but why is she doing every day. She has chicken as she will not eat anything else, occassionaly does eat dry dog food. Any suggestion or advise will be apprecieated. |

| My vet told me that dogs do not get morning sickness. I personally disagree with him since I've had dogs while they were pregnant be sick and take them to the vet to find no reason for it. I beleive they do get morning sickness. You may want to take her to the vet though just to make sure nothings wrong. Good luck on your upcoming litter. |

Donating YT 14K Club Member | Gracie would get morning sickness at odd hours through the day. Some dogs are possibly a little more sensitive to being preggers than others. Just make sure your girl is getting plenty of fluids.
