Bad Boy Toto!! My puppy is 7 months old and he is really becoming a handful. At times it just makes me want to cry. My brother is 17 and he likes to play rough with him. And then when Toto wants to play rough my brother gets mad at him. Today in the morning Toto started growling & biting my brother like as soon as my brother came to the kitchen toto charged at him like if he was threatening us, and was barking aggressively at my brother and biting at his leg. My brother was upset because toto was treating him like that. I don't understand why he did that. Does anyones dog do this? How can i control him from acting like this? I really need help. I acts like this only sometimes with my brother sometimes he doesn't even bother my brother. Please i really need advice. Thanks.

It sound like Toto wants to play roughly with your brother. Toto has no idea that your brother isn't always in the mood. I think, if you want Toto to stop, you have to tell your brother to stop too. Look at it this way, if your brother can't handle Toto playing roughly with him when Toto want to play rough, then your brother shouldn't play rough with Toto when he want to. Fair is fair. Good luck!

my alexander is 4 months old and i told my husband do not play rough because i remember when my basset hound was a puppy they love it. but of course men don't listen and at night when i'm asleep my husband is playing not rough but, putting his hands in his face letting him naw on his fingers. then the next morning when my husband was at work--i stay at home i noticed alexander was nawing on my pant legs and barking at me, i picked him up and of course started nawing on my fingers barking at me and this was just after one night when my husband did this. when my husband got home from work i layed it on him--he admitted and when he picked up alexander he started again nawing, but my husband wasn't in the mood at that time. so--we say no alexander no bite bad bad boy--as he's tilting his head--and it really seems like he knows what your saying. i don't punish him by swating him with a paper , i take him in the kitchen and show him his good boy treat and say, no-you've been a bad bad boy-then we pick him up and he slowly slarts to naw then i say no real loud then he licks me. now after 3 weeks he rarely naws and when he does bark at us we get his toy and play tug a war telling to play with his toys not our fingers. have many different types of toys because they do like to play. so this was so long i forgot i was writing
