| Hope your little one starts feeling better soon. Has the vet stopped the diarrhea and vomiting (using Albon... or something like that?). Do you think she ate something that caused her condition? Get well soon Gracie!!

| Mine too My little 1 yr old jack russell is on an IV and antibiotic too. She started out just vomiting and had slight diarrhea the first two days. By the 3rd day she got really bad diarrhea (very bloody) and she threw up bloody mucus also. I rushed her to the vet when I got home from work on Monday. I was sure that she probably had parvo and was going to die. Today is her second day on IV's and medicine. She is doing good and actually ate a little bit last night. I might get to bring her home tonight. I can't believe she is already so much better. The vet said that it was bacteria. My son took her canoeing last week and she was drinking out of the river and I suspect that might be it. I also have a 16 wk old yorkie and a 4 yr old long hair chihuahua so I was so relieved that it was something they couldn't catch. I'll pray that Gracie will recover quickly also. The IV does wonders for them. |
