| Topher being neutered right now Well, I dropped my little guy off at the vet's this morning for his surgery. It's like he knew..lol...and was resigned to the fact that he was going to be left there. I put him on the exam table and he laid down all relaxed. (He was much more relaxed than I) She's going to remove some teeth while he's out and she's also going to give him pain meds that will cover him for the first 24 hours. She said his mouth will probably hurt more than his underside. (Hubby was feeling so bad for Topher this morning....empathy...must be a 'guy thing'...lol...) I know he's in wonderful hands, but I do worry still. I lost a cat during surgery last year (another vet) so I'm a bit apprehensive. I'll be picking him up later this afternoon...any tips on what I can do to make him more comfortable? |

| Awww, poor little guy, I am sure everything will be just fine but we always worry about our little babies. Mac and Mellie came home the next day, they just lounged around and were back to their normal self the next day. Just spoil him rotten.

| He will do just fine. Try not to worry. Chachi had teeth removed at his neuter too. He came home that night and acted as if nothing was done to him.

| Topher will be fine! You will be so happy to have him home, I know you will spoil him rotten! Just give him loads of hugs and cuddles and try to keep him quiet for 24 hours if you can. He may not want to eat or drink a lot, and could be a bit sleepy. That's OK. Just keep an eye on him, and he will be just fine.
