| We were so very tired... last night Gracie gave us such a scare! As normal she came up on the bed and fell asleep on my tummy. Bristol was laying by my neck chewing away on her bully stick. It was so out of character for Gracie to not be jealous that she had a stick and to be "sleepy" when Bristol was still up playing and messing around. Anyway as we are watching TV my husband notices that Gracie's little eyes are slits and her eyeballs are rolling up in her head. I dismissed it saying that she was just sleeping. Babies do that. Well all of a sudden her little head just slumped over. I touched her head and called her name and NO response. I started to jump up and pick her her and she was totally limp! Scared the crap out of me. Her too! Because when she awakened she came out "snapping". Poor girl she was in just such a deep sleep. I told my husband it was just past her bedtime! She was fine the rest of the night and is up about as normal this am. Maybe not enough naptime yesterday! Little stinkers!! |

| How scary!! Jada has done that to me before, and I did the same as you did grabbed her up and scared her to death. These little buggers keep you on pins and needles sometimes don't they.

| Bless your heart and hers - for you scaring her to death! I remember doing something similar with Muffin a long time ago. They can scare you so much sometimes! I'm glad it was just a tired, tired puppy.

| That would have scared the begeebers outta me!! My little Mylee doesn't like to be put on her back.......unless she is sleeping....then she is like the best doll baby that forms to your hold, and you can put her into any position you want to. LOL. Has your heart calmed down this morning?

| Daisy did that to me when she was a puppy and I started crying omg she is dead and my oldest Son laughed and said Mom she is sleeping. I picked her up and she was like a wet rag doll and as soon as my son called her name she looked up like why the heck are you crying. lol Sooo scary.

| Shortly after I got my first yorkie, Markie, my now husband came from Hawaii for a visit. He woke up and thought he's slept on Markie! He tried to stand him up, and flop, over went... tried again and flop.......... Said all he could think about was "How am I going to tell her I killed her baby?!?" about then he woke up and looked around like "did I miss something???" They sure can sleep soundly!

| Glad to hear I am not the only one that has experienced this. I did have to call from work today and check on her several times just to make sure everything was ok! Both of my girlies are such good girls. Just love them so much. Last night was the first night that Bristol has slept in bed with us all night! Right beside my neck. Can't imagine it gets any better! |

| Ugh, I hate when they do that!! My heart has sank to my stomach a couple of times when I couldn't get my babies to wake up. I wish I could sleep that deeply but everything wakes me up. LOL
