| Worm Med Question Hi everyone! I have a quick question. My yorkie Roxy had worm medication last week and now she sometimes has diarrhea. The past couple of nights she has it right before bedtime. I dont know if I should be worried. Some of you might of read my other post where the vet forgot to give her the second dose of worm meds and so now she needs to start all over. I dont know if this might be a side effect of the medication or if it means her condition has gotten worse. |

| it could be a side effect of the medication as well.. i do know for a fact that a lot of medication that us humans do take cause these normal symptoms. it could be a side effect of the medication that it is working? i'm a nurse and sometimes medications work funny like that lol. but i'm not vet so don't hold me on anything, i'll leave that to someone who's more educated! but i hope your baby is okay! i know that when Oreo had worms, they gave him a shot. and he still had worms, so i brought him in the 2nd time they gave him the yellow stuff in his mouth (i think that was the de-worm) and another shot for the round worms.. well he did still have some diarrhea, but then he still had worms.. tapeworms this time.. and they also gave him another shot, after 2 days of diarrhea, he was cured of the worms lol.. so i wish you luck because worms suck! |
