| Mackenzie recently had her baby teeth removed when she was spayed. My husband used to call her shark face because all you could see were tons of teeth when she opened her tiny mouth! ...But anyway..if your Chewy is inbred, I really don't think that has anything to do with him retaining his baby teeth, I think it's just something that happens sometimes. He's only 6 months old so there is still plenty of time for those baby teeth to fall out on their own too.... Everyone here has given great advice, as usual

| I just had my dogs baby teeth pulled last week. She did really good the first day. She was in a little pain the first two days. But after that she was fine. She is also six months old and I was really worried about her. I would have the teeth pulled. Good Luck and everything will be fine. Stephanie |

| I just today noticed Jovi has doubles too. I am going to leave them for awhile to see if they come out on their own. How much do they usually charge to have teeth removed? |

Donating YT 500 Club Member | Has he been neutered yet? my vet wanted to wait until Roxy was 7 mo before spaying, as usually all permanent teeth are in by then. When she was spayed at 7 mo, she only had to pull 2 teeth. That's probably what's going on w/your little guy. Vet's don't want to put the little dogs under twice to do neutering & later to do teeth when they can do both at the same time.

| My george is 1 next week and still has a few double ups (teeth), I took him to vet 2 weeks ago because I was worried about his health and vet wants to pull them ou soon as he said it will cause problems with his gum etc.

| Seymour lost most of his baby teeth, but there were a few that were extracted when he was neutered. Probably a good idea to consult with a vet. If they don't come out, it is possible they cause problems.

| I give mine the hard Nyla Bones to chew on. It helps loosen their baby teeth. My granddaughter had toi have her little yorkies baby teeth pulled. He lost most of them on his own but had a couple that had to be pulled to keep from having problems with gums later. I would let the vet look at them...Good Luck

| Mina looks like a shark because she has two sets of fangs. I will have the baby teeth that didn't come out on their own pulled after the first of the year. |

| Bentley had 2 sets of teeth until he was about 9 months and still has maybe 2 or 3 baby teeth left. The vet said it was perfectly normal but if it didn't fall out until he was 1 than we'd have to get them removed. Fortunate for us majority of them did fall out on their own. I wouldn't worry much.

He was Nutered at the same time as we did not want to put hum under twice. Poor little guy was sore at both ends. But he came through with flying colors and made Mommy watch 100 and 1 Dalmations over and over lol
