| Thank You, I hope you get on here more often. Either you have a life and don't need to spend your free time one here, or maybe you just haven't gotten addicted yet. |

| OH I am addicted Sadly I start to cry thinking of the girl I sent to the rainbow bridge. Chloe was about 2 when we got Jazmine but Chloe was so mellow. I never even wanted her. As a plumber in San Francisco I would go to peoples homes and there would be these little ankle biters always yapping. I had put my Sheltie down and I hated myself as I let the vet just take him in the back I have kicked myself ever since for not being there for him. Anyway after that my daughter came home with the wife after going to get bird food from the pet store. She told me that she founf a puppy that she wanted but did not know if I would like it. I said OK then she told me it was a Yorkie. I rolled my eyes and told her if she truly wanted it OK but do not expect me to like it. Well she came home with that little ball of fur placed her in my hand and that was it. Now she is waiting for me at the rainbow bridge. I has been 6 weeks today and I am crying my eyes out as she was my little girl. She owned me and even now I am crying thinking of her and how she used to greet me. Sorry for venting. Jim |

| Jim, Losing a dog that you love is one of the hardest, most heartbreaking thing that many of us ever go through. I have said it before, but I still remember the dogs I had as a child (over 50 years ago), and miss them still. I believe from experience that time is the only thing that helps us get over our initial, most painful grief. But - still we never forget our dogs who were a wonderful part of our lives. They live in our hearts and memories of them bring tears to our eyes forever. Carol Jean |

| It's good if you are able to talk about your grief to anybody that's willing to listen. Time will ease the pain, tho you will never forget her. I still talk about the babies i lost years ago, i still miss them. You will find that so many people understand if they have been through it. It's comforting to know that they are there and waiting for us, looking over us and still love us all the same. Just remember, we are thinking of you!

| Jim- That is what this site is about. Every possible type of support you could ever want or need. I'm so sorry for your loss. I can't speak for anyone else, but having had lots of other "pets" during my lifetime, there is something very special about my little Yorkie baby. I have never felt this way about another animal. Sure, I've been saddened when it was time for them to go - but I can't even imagine a life without Sissy. The attachment is total and complete. I hate to leave her when I run errands, or go out to the classes I teach. The worst was going on vacation. Though I had a very trusted friend who was keeping her for me, I called every day to check on her and carried photos with me. I never did that with my human children!! I have gladly spent LOTS of money buying her premium food, fancy collars, hair bows, specialty walking harnesses, a car seat, etc. I don't blink at the cost of the vet visits, whenever she goes outside to potty - I'm there with her no matter the time or weather. Need I go on? Obviously I'm head over heels in love with Sissy and she is truly a large part of my soul. I pray she is with me for many years. When our other dog departs (she is an Eskimo spitz and very much my hubby's dog), I plan to get a 2nd Yorkie baby. I would tell you that time heals all wounds, but I know that is not always the case. May your memories provide you with comfort.
