| her waters will brake she will lay down, pups are born about every half hour, make sure the pup is coming out head first, it will be in a sack which the mother will brake and then she will lick the pup to clear away the mucus and get it breathing then you cut the cord,if she dont do that you will have to brake the sack and gently wipe away any mucus away from the pups mouth and nose, make sure the pups breathing,if its not rub the side of the pup with a towel, then the placenta will come out which she will eat, make sure a placenta comes out after each pup, about half an hour later the next will be born.i would advice you to take the pups and the female to the vet for a check up as soon as possible. my yorkie had 2 pups but i only let her eat one placenta as she looked like she couldnt face another one lol. hope everything goes well

| if she is pushing for over half an hour there could be a problem,ie the pups in breach(bum first) or the cord is around the pups neck,if this is the case and you no nothing about labour take the dog to the vet right away. tye was born with the cord around this neck but i got it off of him in time and zac was in breach so i had to turn him around inside of my female but even though it worked he was starved of air and is now a little slow bless him.

| Gabika - When you say "about to have puppies," I hope you don't mean "right now." If so - good luck! If you mean soon - I hope you have a week or two to learn everything you can about helping your little girl deliver her pups and what to expect. Anyway, you have a lot of homework to do - I'm sure you can get a lot of advise, and help here on YT -- Carol Jean |

| if you are uncomfortable and really scared, maybe you should go to a vet once she goes in labour or have a someone with experience come to your house like a family member, neighbor, or friend. hope this helps keep us updated!

| OH My, I would be scared too!!!! When her labor starts it might be a good idea to take her to the Vet to have her babies. Just to be on the safe side. I don't know anything about Breeding, but I would want someone with me to help. Good luck to you, Please keep us posted.
