| Bladder Infection? My 9 mo old Sassi just got spade on Mon. Everything has been good so far. But this morning I noticied that she was squating and walking while "dribbling" urine on the carpet. She seems to be in no discomfort. She urinated in her litter box just fine earlier in the morning. I called the vet they said it may be a bladder infection-I just can't get her in until Mon (I have to work). I didn't know it was that or if she was acting differently because of the surgery or the pain meds. Just wondering if anyone else has experinced this. Thanks!

| Hmmm...I sure don't know, but I hope she gets better really soon! Does sound like it could be a bladder infection. Kisses from Maddie!

| I think that she isn't displaying enough symptoms to deem it a bladder infection. If you wait until you said you can make it I don't think there would be any harm. Your call, though I also am the type to not rush off to the vet every time my Yorkie acts a little off. There must be certain symptoms and imo it doesn't even sound like she's really got a one! I would chaulk it off to her surgery and wait a few days. If it is a bladder infection (especially if she's a little one) you'll know pretty soon! She'll want to urinate frequently and maybe not a lot comes out, she may even squat to pee and nothing will come out and she'll stay squatted for awhile. That's the first indication that her bladder may be amiss. That's not what you described, so I'd wait a few more days! |
