Rabies shot today
Poor Illy got her last round of puppy shots and her rabies shot today. She did good at the vet, but once we got home she acted really sad. She slept all day and she was really sore. When I picked her up she started whining. She didn't do that after any of her other shots. Is this normal? She is acting like more of herself now, so that's good. I just feel so bad.
I love my Illy!!

My Jewels does that when she gets her shots. She is always better by the next day.

Yep Diesel did it too. I think that the distemper is the one that gives them such a hard time. He would scream if I even looked at him the wrong way. I had him laying on a heating pad off and on all day. The next day he was still a tad tender but better for the most part. When he got his rabies he didn't have any problems. I waited a while for his rabies shot. So when he did get it it was the only one he got. Snuggle good with your little one and he will feel much better later.

Daisy did the same thing when she got her rabies shot but she was fine the next day! Also she got a bump where they gave her the shot but the vet said that was normal just to give you a heads up!
