Yorkie Meet up Does anyone in Yorkie Talk ever do the Yorkie meet up? I would love my lil boy to play with other Yorkies but when i go to the dog run i rarely run into Yorkies. Well, i live In Manhattan and if there is anyone who would like to meet up for a play date in a public park I would be willing to meet but again in a public area( dog run). I think that would be awesome. Too bad everyone in Yorkie Talk aren't close by. It would be soo cool to have all the yorkies on this site meet up.

You can always try to organize a meetup in the Regional Sections of the forum. Just find your region, and post a message asking if anyone wants to meet up.

I'm trying to arrange a yorkie meetup in Northern California right now on the "Southwest USA" board... I don't know anyone here with a small dog, so it'd be great to have playdates

I live in NY, but I don't really take Archie to Manhattan because I live in Queens (forest hills).

I took Hefner to his first yorkie meetup last Saturday. It is the San Diego Yorkie Meetup. I found it when I was surfing the internet and it came up. I know they have them all over the country and I did see one in the New York area. Just google "yorkie meet up" and see what comes up. Hefner was a "wild man". He ran for an hour straight from dog to dog to dog. We were over an hour late and I was afraid no one would be there but there were still about 15 yorkies there when we got there! Both of us made some new friends and the next meetup is the end of this month at the beach! I will take my camera next time and post some pics. I also contacted the lady that put on the "Yorkie Fest" in Ohio. She has since moved to the Santa Barbara area of California which is where my daughter lives with her yorkie and she is planning something for that area. There is also a Pet event in Orange County the weekend of the 15th and some people from the San Diego group are going to that. If anyone is interested I can give you the info.
