| Beg him to please wait until they are at LEAST 8 weeks old. The desired time is 12, of course...but that may be pushing it. Say that they need their mommy to survive. How can he say no if he thinks the pups will die?

| hmm. Many people here have opinions about this. I think that you should do what you think is right. Having a puppy go to a new home is very hard on them. And its even harder when they are that small.

| Maybe you can call animal control or the Humane Society and ask what if someone sold their puppies at 5 weeks of age or separated the mother at that young of an age. Some states have laws that the puppies have to be a certain age.

| That is so sad. I dont know what to advise. Is a hard situation. Can you plead for him to at least wait until the pups are 8 weeks old. Good luck. I will pray for everything to work out. Please keep us posted. |

| so I'm just wondering, what was he going to do with her when the time came to give birth and he could not afford the c section? I mean if you were not involved. I would not let him have her back. I would hide her and the pups at someone's house, and tell him she ran away or something(ok I know that wouldnt work)But there has to be something you can do to keep this dog away from this guy. He should not have a dog at all. |
