| Yorkie aggression Hi everyone ; This is day 5 that I have been looking after homer. He is 11 weeks old and even I am getting frustrated. He is very aggressive and seems to know nothing except biting and growling and barking . He does not know how to play easy . he is tearing at the curtains ,Mats, furniture and anything else he can get into . If I try to take him out he goes balistic when I try to put on his colar. When angry I flip him on his back and it makes him even more wild. He has bitten me twice and also bitten my son-in-law when he did this. Please helppppppppppp Fran |

| Sounds like he wants to be the alpha male. Be stern with your commands when he does something naughty, and let him know who is boss. Once he realizes you are the leader, he will be able to calm down. Do you have something for him to chew on or bite? He may be teething, and gnawing and biting is what makes his teeth feel better. Also, you can try clicker training, or spraying him with water, or using a bell to train him better. Good luck! |
