| Vote for your favorite breed Here is a site where you can vote for your favorite breed of dog. Yorkies are pretty popular, but not the top dogs. here is the link. http://www.webvoter.net/en/vote.cgi?id=57393 |

| I, of course, voted Yorkie I was really surprised to see Papillion so high up there - I didn't realize it was that popular - that is my SECOND favorite breed

| I am surprised Dalmations are number one. I've never even seen one in real life.

| I had a dalmation once. Very high strung. Sensitive ears. We had to get rid of her because she would run around the back yard at full speed and run into my toddler daughter at the time and throw her. The dog couldn't handle her crying or screaming. Plus she would almost push you down jumping on you. Not a good dog. HYPER! LARGE!

| Somehow those results seem odd, like the Dalamtion Club of America is hosting the poll or something and too many dogs have no votes at all. HHHHmmmmmm...something fishy there. I voted Yorkie!! Don't tell my westie or my poodle!! |

| Gosh! I am really surprised yorkies aren't higher up there. All I can say is some people just must not know what they are missing. I vote for Yorkies #1. Then for poodles #2.

| Well, if dalmations are so much more popular, why do yorkies cost so dang much more!! I , of course, voted yorkie. Boston terrier would probably be my second, then maybe maltese although I've never had one, I was considering that when looking for a dog.

| I'm surprised that Dalmations are number 1. We had one once and it was so hyper sounds alot like Teddybear's.... we had to find a new home for her. Yorkies are number 1 in my book. |

| I was actully surprised at many of the tops dogs. Maybe I am bias though cause I do love my yorkie, and I love dobermans, quite the contrast but they are fun. However a dalmatin #1 no way, they are way to high strung for me!

| Yorkies are #1 in my Book I've bred pit bulls and raised Rottweilers, my most vicious dog was a female Black Lab! And I've even had a St. Bernard, Japanese spitz, Newfoundland, and a Doberman Pinscher. Artie is my first Yorkie! And now Abigail makes 2 They are by far the smartest, quick/eager to learn, loyal, relentless breed of true Terrier! Sorry I don't see Dalmations as #1 regardless of any poll? I'm totally hooked on Yorkies being the Best all around breed! |

| I don't trust the poll. I don't know anyone who actually HAS a dalmation. My neighbors had one once and it was nuts. I only know one person who has a jack russell terrier, and I live in a city where EVERYONE has dogs. I know a lot of yorkies, a lot of shih-tzu's, a lot of wire fox terriers, some bichons, poodles and pomeranians...oh and mini pinchers. |
