| Girls vs boys I have a question my boy just got fixed a month ago and now my little girl is in heat ( she will be fixed very soon also) but, they are really fighting I don't mean playing they are battling with each other, is this normal when she is in heat... never went thru this before, always just had girl dogs,,, should i separate them ? |

| When my girls are in heat , I have to keep some of them separate because they are fighting . |

| But i just think it is so weird for a boy and a girl to battle like this, these two have been together for 8 months and they do everything together, they sleep side by side in bed with us, eat, play and go for walks together, i never seen Haley this mean.... |

| Well - you can be certain that there are hormonal changes when a little female is in heat. So, for now I would attribute her behavior change to this and expect their "fighting" problem to be only temporary. And, if this is the case, and she soon be spayed, it's not too bad a problem after all. Carol Jean |
