| Do you feel the same way... or am I a just really lowsy at taking pics? I take 100's of pics of my babies and only keep a few. The pictures turn out good, but they do my girls no justice. Especially Lexi !!! Lexi is so pretty and has a beautiful soft coat, but I just can't get it in pics. She is just so much prettier in real life than in pics. WHAT AM I DOING WRONG ??????

| Dont worry you are not the only one, I look like a retard when I am taking pics of my girls bc I have to jump around and make funny noises just to get them to keep looking at me! If I dont do it they always turn their head right as soon as the picture takes

| Unless the picture is really bad, I keep it anyway. The delay on most digital cameras makes it more difficult to get a good photo. I just burn my memory stick to a disc when it gets full. Just like people some dogs probably aren't very photogenic but a lousy picture is better than none at all. |

| In the past you guys have thought I take great pictures.....I delete HUNDEREDS of them just to get a few good ones! I know what you mean though....Tiah is not as photogenic. Pretty in real life but looks a little distorted in photos. I too, look and sound like an idiot trying to get their attention for a picture. The smart little buggers only let me use a new "sound" a few times and then it isn't interesting anymore. I've even used a harmonica. |

| I agree that pictures don't do some dogs justice. My two boys are beautiful yorkies in person, their coloring is vivid. They both have sweet expressions. Yet on camera, they just fade and don't look the same. But I won't give up trying to get that perfect pic!

| My poor little Gracie isn't very photogenic either and I don't think I've ever taken one indoors that she didn't have freaky green glowing eyes. |

| I'm in the same boat and constantly bugging Kimberly on new methods to try to get the kind of great shots she's always taking. I get tons of pics of the floor where they just were...sigh. Anybody want to see 200 yr old chestnut planking?

| I completely agree. I only have a pic of my Roscoe posted, because I can't get one of Krissy that does her justice. But I'm working on it! |

| Well that is the nice thing about the digital cameras. You can take 100's of pictures and it doesn't cost you a thing. |

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | I agree - I see some pics of the girls and think the same way - What I also think is... we as their moms (& dads) konw all their expressions and how totally adorable they are in person ..and we want that to shine thru in photos...sometimes we just don't catch that 'look' Your girls are PRETTY and we all know it.... |
