| Trim Bangs? Hi, I'm looking for some advice about my little Bailey's bangs. They seem to be hanging in his eyes, but not long enough to keep up in a bow. He is going to the vet on Wednesday to get neutered, and I don't really want to take him to the groomer for a bathe and tidy before that. He has to wait until 10 days after that before I can take him, so I am wodering if i should give them a tiny snip now? This his him now, at 4 months, so you will have an idea of what I am talking about.....I really appreciate all of the helpful advice that i receive from you all.

| I think if its really bothering you I would trim them a bit to take care of them tell you are able to get to the groomer. Now keep in mind that if in the future you intend to make a topknot you will have to wait for all that hair to grow out again. |

| I'm always trimming bangs around here on someone....lol. I would go for it -- Bailey will appreciate the hair out of his eyes. Good luck!

| Just a tip --- Always at least bathe your little pup before he has any surgery - my vet always asks me to do that - because he'll be cleaner - and won't be able to have a bath for a while afterwards. Carol Jean |

| Thanks for the tip. The thought of bathing him before hand hadn't really crossed my mind , I was just thinking about how they usually smell after the surgery. I currently am bathing him weekly and he is finally not struggling while I do it, though he is impatient waiting to get his treat for being a good bath baby. I will be sure to do him before his surgery now. Thank you so much.

| My little girl has a top knot- she also has a problem with the little stray hairs falling in her eyes- does anyone have the secret of how to keep these out of their eyes? I have seen hair gel at Target- and am about to try that! Does anyone know if it works?

| I would give a bath and trim the bangs only if you are not trying to grow them out.I trim both of my pups and its great because they can see.
