| Is this normal? My little Amy was spayed yesterday. I knew she would be down for a while once she came home, you know with having the anesthetic and all. But today she is still very very down, she will either lay in here bed,or get up and go and sit in a corner somewhere looking at me with her big brown sad eyes. Even when i take her out to do Pee she will just stand there and do nothing Am i expecting to much of her so soon after her op? Your advice would be gratefully appreciated. Thanks. |

| Yes its perfectly normal behaviour. My Pippa was spayed a few months back and she was the same. Wont be long before she'll be back to her old self

| normal. Keep track of her temp and make sure she's drinking. If she's never had milk products before, don't give her cottage cheese. Some yorks have lactose problems and you don't want her having a belly ache right now.

Donating YT 30K Club Member | Cali was spayed 2 weeks ago and had other procedures and she was kept 36 hours after surgery and even with that she just slept nearly all of the time for 4 days. Then she was back to her usual devil self.
