| How old is he? He sounds like a normal, healthy, playful, inquisitive yorkie. They usually settle down some when they get older. Some take longer than others. In the meantime you have to puppy proof just like you do for a baby and think of him as a 2 year old that will get into anything that he can reach. Enjoy him. There are others on here that would trade places with you in a heartbeat. |

| *Holly-Ann used to chew on stuff and i bought Bitter Apple Spray & sprayed it on everything. I didn't spray it on the toliet paper, but just keep it up. Once they taste it on other things they stop. Holly-Ann used to chew on corner of the walls and like the legs of furniture so if he hasn't started doing that i also advise spraying in on those. It doesn't take alot you can just mist it on bout everything. Hope this helps |

as for peeing in his crate. how old is he and how long do you keep him in the crate? young ones need to go often and can't be crated for too long. try taking him out of the crate for potty often. even when they're older, because they're small, they have small bladders and need to go often. i never keep my 6 month old crated for more than 1 hour at a time, unless it's at night and he's sleeping, then he can be crated for up to 6 hours before he makes noise to be let out for potty. | When Bailey was at that stage, Everything on the floor was his, anything of mine was OFF the floor, it worked out well. As for the peeing in the crate, Bailey has never done that, my guess is he has been in too long, or needs to go out more often.

| Don't feel bad. I have a maltese that destroyes everything, chews up everything, shreds everything, pees and poops in crate, pees and poops all over house or even on your lap, barks all the time, should I go on? I can't help give any advise but hang in there! |

| Just wanted to say if you find a solution for the toilet paper problem please let me know ...there are plenty of days when we go in the hallway only to find the row of toilet paper unravled and trailing from the bathroom out to the kitchen and Chloe at the scene of the crime tearing the enemy to shreds

| We kept the bathroom doors closed for a year. Now we have the covered trash cans and he leaves the TP alone. Every time he goes in a bathroom we say "out" which he knows and he turns around and gets out. So he kind of knows bathrooms are off limits. Shoes used to stay in the closet although now he is not even interested. When he was a puppy if he approached the shoes I would put a bone in his mouth instead. Re-direct that need to chew to an appropriate toy. If he is doing this while unattended, well, he should not be unattended. Therefore it should be easy to fix. We also keep socks in the laundry basket (he only steals the dirty ones) and he only steals them to see if someone will chase him. If no one chases him it's no fun and he drops them. He also knows the "drop" command and will trade or a treat or I ask him to fetch and he brings back the sock. Honestly, he doesnt chew them only steals them so he's not really hurting anything and I don't think too much of it. As far as peeing in the crate - try monitoring his water and making sure he goes outside a LOT. Even every 15 mins if necessary. Loki peed that often until he was 4 months old. Good luck.

| LOL Welcome to puppyhood!!!! Princess is three, and she still loves toilet paper. But she did give up the socks I'd watch your purse, Princess had fun with my LV, my husband didn't think it was so funny.
