| Eating grass and shrubs I have a question. Buddy (7 months) and Bella (3 months) have both taken to eating the grass and bushes in the yard whenever i take them out. Do you think they have something missing in thier diet? |

| most of the time they eats grass etc... is because they have an upset tummy. There have been a lot of threads on here about dogs eating grass, and that's what the vet has told me as well. What type of puppy food are you feeding them? Oh and welcome to YT

| Dori and Yogi both love to chew on my house plants. The ones I have aren't supposed to be poisonous, they also chew on grass and anything outside thats green, I've watched them and they actually like the juice. I too asked the Vet about this and he said they do like the moisture in plants and grass and thats why its so important to not have any poisonous plants around, because they will get ahold of them, it doesn't necessarily mean they have a tummy ache, I guess the same reason they love to lick lotion off of me, lol. So far in a year and half, they haven't gotten sick from them before or after.

| adding a spoonful of blendered romaine lettuce to kibble should stop this problem and satisfy the urge to go for green stuff.. There are many possible toxins in or on plants that they should not be ingesting.
