| Food Stealer... How do I train Chance my 4month old that my food is not his food. I was sitting on the floor around the coffee table eating chips and he jumped up on me and practically took the chip out of my mouth. Our older dogs was sitting right next to me and he gave Chance a good scolding. Chance ran off crying. I dont know if Remmy actually made skin contact with Chance or not...it happend so fast. I have read that when the older dogs does this to turn your back on them and don't give them any attention? Any suggestions. I gave Chance a big no when he got in my face and tried to take my food. What do your dogs do when you are eating? |

| well.... My dogs are all pretty well trained. They do eat dog food and I give them plenty of treats. But when mom eats..... I do not give them any food. I have a new puppy now and she is still learning. But if you want your dogs not to beg at dinner or bother your guest.... they have to realize that they will not get food when we eat. I will actually set aside food for them and when it's another time.... I will give it to them. So my MaeMae comes with me to restaurants and she won't make a peep... she sleeps in her bag and nobody knows she is there. I can be on the sofa watching TV with a plate of steak and my dogs sleeping on my lap and around..... and they won't even look up. Because I am consistant with my training. And I do this because I love my dogs and they are well behaved and people who are in my home love them too. |

BANNED FOR NOT MAILING PRODUCTS PURCHASED | I broke Kloey of this real fast, what worked for us is a water spray bottle, when she came and started begging, I would spray her in the face and say NO in a stern voice and she would go running off to her crate. This worked for me but some yorkies like the water, others use a can with coins in it to make a loud noise. |

| Punkin usually whines a bit and hops around trying to get our attention. After a few minutes she curls up at our feet and watches in case a crumb might fall. We try hard to be consistent. We never give her anything from the table. I might share a small piece of somthing if I'm eating at my desk but that's it. |
