| Digging or scratching... Hello all of yorkie talk world I have another concern, every since I got Babe Girl I have noticed she's been scratching or digging around her collar once I put it on her. Is this normal behavior or do I need to look into that? Or could it be from the puppy flea meds I put around her neck? Thank you all for any help you can give hope to see your replies soon and take care. Sincerely, Babe Girl & Mommy w/ love

| Hi - congrats on your new pup!! Maybe your baby's just not used to having a collar on and is clawing at it because he knows it's something new and is slightly uncomfortable right now. Just make sure it's not too tight or too loose. Frodo clawed at his for the first couple of days but now he doesn't pay any mind to it. I hope it works out! |

| i dont use a collar on Sirius because i heard they can cause problems on their little throats. here is a link to a thread that talks about it a little: http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/sho...lapsed+trachea I use a harness [even though it took a while to figure out the right way to use it!!] its much gentler on him and i think alot of other yorkie owners use them instead of collars. She is probably scratching at it because she wants it off lol. siri used to do that to his clothes but now he is fine with them..
