| Out of Town .. W/ Jackson!! I am out of town .. looking for houses in Detroit this weekend/week and because I love my Jackson sooo much I had to bring him. Now, I know I'm biased but he really has been good. He flew with me on the plane (of course) and seriously did not make a sound. Both of the passengers sitting in my row really got a kick out of him and couldn't believe how good he was. The people at the hotel have been great .. the cleaning lady for my room brought all of the other cleaning ladies over to play with him. But today when I met with the realtor he acted really disgusted. I could tell he wasn't into dogs so there was no messing around. Jackson is always good as I take him out all the time .. when he's in his daybag he usually just falls asleep or looks out at everything that is going on. At the end of the day the realtor looked at me kind of funny and said "Can I ask you a question" .. I knew this wasn't going to be good .. "Why didn't you just leave your dog at home?". WOW .. I was shocked. I explained calmly that he's just like my child (even asked him if he'd leave his children at home when he left for a weekend) .. that both he and I would be miserable if we were apart for a week and it is a priority for me to have him with me. I never anticipated when I got Jackson that I'd be this attached but I really feel like he is the best thing I could have ever done for myself .. he makes everyday fun even when it isn't. I called him back after I got settled tonight and told him I didn't think we would be doing business together .. he tried to back-peddle but I'm just not hearing it. I think he was totally rude. Any thoughts?? Lis

| I think you did the right thing. He is a realtor, it's none of his business who you decide to bring with you. Bless Jackson's lil heart for being such a good boy.

| I agree! I would be very hurt! I don't understand some people! Why does it matter if you want to bring your sweet little guy with you? Its none of his business! He should be kissing some booty trying to get your business! Now he can just "Open mouth and insert his foot"! Bet he will think twice before he makes some stupid comment next time! LOL Thats ok! you will find someone better girl!

| I agree with every one else!! he should have been kiss your booty to get your business!! and even if he didnt like dogs, he should have been sucking up to Jackson as well and play and kiss on him like there was no tomorrow! If someone bring their furbaby with them when there looking for a house in a diffrent state, that is a red light that you don't do ask that question or act like you dont like dogs. You did the right thing! |

| Congratulations! You made a GREAT decision in firing that REALTOR. I am a REALTOR in the state of Kansas; my job would be that much better if I had more clients like you that brought their baby's with them. There are WAY to may good agents out there to put up with that sort of crap. Your agent should be someone you can trust and that can understand you and your lifestyle. I'm not sure I trust anyone who questions my love for my furbaby. Gracie is in my office almost everyday; she's actually become my wing "woman". Who wouldn't buy a house from someone with such a cute face. Just an idea, but you might call a local vet. office and ask for a referral. I'm sure there is a vet somewhere who knows a client/patient who sells real estate (and an animal lover). Good luck in your search!
