| Neuter age Hi ALL!! I miss YT!! Zoe is almost 6 months and i was wondering if 8 months would be too old to nueter him? I do not feel comfortable with my vet neutering him and would like time to research for a good surgeon. what age is too old? Thanks! How is everyone?

| I got Chachi neutered at 7 months. I dont think 8 months is too old to neuter.

| I don't think 8months is too old. Gucci was 1 yr old when she got spayed waiting for her teeth to fall on their own. |

Donating YT 30K Club Member | I just ahd Cali spayed and she's almost 9 months old. She had some other procedures and I had a board certified surgeon do it. It was way more costly but I knew she would be closely monitored for 24 hours.

| I called my vet last week about neutering Bobby and he said he prefers to wait to neuter Yorkies until they're at least 7 months old. He said it gives them time to gain weight and mature, plus more time to see if the baby teeth will come out on their own. Well, my little teapot is plenty strong and has been driving Lily, my bulldog, absolutely bonkers with his fake-humping. She went after him today and scared the daylights out of both of us! So, I'm scheduling his surgery next week even though he's just 8 days past six months old. Julie |
