| This must be what my breeder recommended. I forgot the name of it. She said it was for horses and worked wonderfully on yorkie hair. And I remember that it was not mane and tail. I'd like to know where to get some too. I wonder if they have it at the feed store? |

| I use mane and tail on Nemo's coat, and also on my hair, and I love it, I also do a deep conditioner treatment on Nemo's hair every two weeks, because the main and tail is a protein shampoo and conditioner, which helps with growth, and it makes the hair or coat healthy, but to make Nemo's hair extra soft, and tangle free, plus silky and shiney after he is finished with his bath I spray on thermasilk detangling leave-in conditioner it is heat activated, so it works even better when you blow dry, but it works just as well if you allow your dog to air dry, which after Nemo's bath I usually blow dry on low and comb his hair at the same time, and believe me it does wonders for his hair, I have recomended this product plus the mane and tail to my friend who just could not keep her yorkie tangle free and was having a hard time combing his hair, well she called me a few weeks ago and thanked me for telling her about the thermasilk, because it has made it so much easier to comb and keep his coat tangle free...... I bought mine at Sally's Beauty Supply two weeks ago they had the extra large bottles of shampoo and conditioner two for one so I paid $7 for both the smaller bottles are like $3.99 the thermasilk I got at Walmart, and you can get the M&T at Walmart, someone mentioned that above..... | Mane & Tail vs Cowboy Magic I've got a horse and use Cowboy Magic on a regular basis and it works great ... on the horse. It didn't work so well on a person -- it untangled great but was a little too strong. I would think it might be likely to cause skin problems for some yorkies. Mane & Tail is milder, is sold for human use and I would think would be easier on our little guys. |

| Wow! Thank you for the advice on Thermasilk, Gale! The shampoo that we use says it's also conditioning, but boy does it tangle Fred's hair! How do you get him to stay still so you can blow AND comb? I have to blow with one hand and hold with the other! |
