Donating YT 30K Club Member | Sleeping a lot since surgery Cali had surgery Monday night for spaying and abdominal and liver biopsies. I brought her home Wednesday morning. Ever since I brought her home she has slept most of the time, which I know is good for her but I am a little worried that she isn't a little more perky. She is on antibiotics and no pain medicine. Her incision is huge, well over 4 inches and she is so little. Is this normal to sleep this much. She is eating pretty good but no pooping.

| She has been through a lot so it sounds normal to me. Ask the vet. I would be a little concerned about the no pooping part though. Give her some nutracal, that might get things moving. or a little canned pumpkin. talk to the vet about your concerns. best wishes to you and your baby |

| She has been through quite an ordeal, I wouldn't worry. You could always call the vet, but I would think sleeping is what she wants to do right now. I hope she has a speedy recovery.
