| How old before they sleep all night? Good morning, Our two yorkies sometimes awake at 4:00 a.m. and most times we try to stretch it to 5:00 a.m. How old before they will be able to hold it all night and sleep throughout the night?

| Mine usually wakes up at 5 a.m. also (he's a year old). He has his own doggy door so he doesn't have to "hold it", but he likes going out to the big backyard every morning. I have a pool so I don't let him go unsupervised, but I make him wake until 6:00 a.m. and he just sits and stares at me while I sleep and he knows when the alarm goes off I will take him out and not before that. My little girl who passed away never woke up until around 9 or 9:30 so I guess there are "morning dogs" just like there are "morning people"! |

| I guess all dogs are different because my two are only 12 weeks and they go to bed around 9:30 or 10pm and they don't start to stir in their crate until 6:30 or 7. Which is when I get up anyway. They have never had an accident in the crate. They dont' bark or cry either. My little girl is 2 1/2 lbs and my little boy is 3 1/2 lbs right now. I don't know if size matters?

| My 8-week old slept with me from the first night on. He slept 5 or 6 hours straight without peeing almost every night. I did take him to his pee pad when he first moved in the morning. But please don't think he is potty trained......wish again! He is just especially good about not peeing all night. Carol Jean |

| Cooper sleeps all night from 11:00 to 7:00. He is 11 weeks old and has done that for a few weeks now. We keep him in a playpen at night and when we are not at home and we keep a peepad in it for him and he does very well about using it wheile we are gone. |

| Bella (13 weeks) has been sleeping from 10:00 pm to 6:30 AM. She hasn't had any accidents and only once, in the last two weeks, has she fussed at night (around 4:00AM). I got up and took her potty (she really had to go). Guess she had to much to drink that night! |

| Ok, I must be doing something really, really wrong!! We have to get up very early and go to bed early. At 8:00 all go to bed, by 11:00 dogs are up and barking, go let them outside and back to bed we go. At 2:00 it's up again..same routine. We get up at 2:30 so I just stay up. Guess that adverages to about every 4 hrs!! Waaaaa I NEVER get a 7-8 hour sleep!
