| Strange behavior, does she remember??? EXACTLY one year ago, on March 13th, Gracie got deathly ill and I almost lost her. (She also lost someone close to her the very same day) Well... yesterday(3/13) she did not eat and did not drink. I gave her nutracal and I have been watching her. Today I gave her water by syringe and opened up a can of Hills Prescription Diet soft food and she ate about 2 tablespoons. She is now all curled up in her bed asleep. I think that this is so strange... do you think that she remembers what happened to her last year? She seems to be depressed. What do you think (other then "take her to the vet", I've already been in touch with them)?

| Hmmm, that's a good question. I thought dogs didn't really have a sense of time. I think the date is a coincidence...but I could be wrong. I have been wrong a few times in my life.

| Yes, I wouldn't think they remember either, especially from a year ago. That is very odd though... Just make sure she still eats and drinks water, how is she this afternoon? |
