| My yorkies ears were up at 8 weeks when I got her. You may want to use the search feature for the forums. I know there have been many threads here that could help you. Here, this may help. http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/sea...earchid=450138 |

| They are all different, sometimes they never do, Bailey's didn't both stand till about 6 months old, his would flip flop one side up then the other side up, then one down,, it made for the best puppy pictures, I love those.

| My little girls ears were up when she was only 5 weeks old. My little guy was 8 weeks. But, as everyone has said it could be anytime and they may need help.

| Anytime between 2 and 6 months. If you're worried about it you can tape them. But I would try shaving the top 1/2 and see if that does it. |

| Both of mine were up at 8 weeks, but it can be later. I would try shaving the hair off of the upper part to reduce the weight before taping. I know some vets say that taping is a waist of time. |

| When we got Reggie at 4 months, her ears were still flopping. I tried trimming them and taping them, over and over and over again because she didn't like the tape and would work it off. One ear would stand up and the other flop down. I'd look at her, point my finger and strongly tell her to get her ear up, and she would. Although, she thought that it was a game and as soon as I would turn around, down the ear would go. What was so funny, it never was the same ear. She was playing with me. Finally I gave up and at almost 7 months they both stayed up on their own. Two of the puppies we have right now were up and stayed up at 4 1/2 weeks, the other two followed at 5 weeks. On the other hand, Alphy is 7 months and still flops around unless they are cut as short as I can get them, the whole ear has to be cut, not just the upper portion, or no standee up.

| Don't know if it makes any sense but on my yorkies I have found the smaller ones have their ears up earlier than the larger ones. One had ears up at 12 wks when I got her. One (8+ lbs now) didn't get hers up until almost 6 mo. The key for my bunch was keeping the ears shaved and I taped the ones who didn't have them up by 4 months...So far all are up! Though it really doesn't matter to me, I wanted them to have the chance to get them up. Though if they had stayed down I would have been delighted too. I have a 6 mo old Biewer boy who when he is tired lets one semi flop at the top. Its so cute to ask him if he is ready for bed!

| My girl and boy are 6 months and one of Delilahs ears are up and one with the tip hanging down and Sampsons are both down. He goes nuts if I try to shave his ears. She hates it too and they move really fast when i get the sissors out. Oh well, they look cute with the ears flopping when they run.
