| Shipping a Puppy I'm interested in getting a puppy shipped from the US into Canada and I was wondering if anyone had the same experience? I'm located in Vancouver, so would it be easier if I drove to Seattle and have the pup picked up or have directly flown into Vancouver which would arrive late? And what type of extra fees (tax, etc) that I should be aware of? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks! |

| I would drive and pick up the puppy. I had to have a pet shipped and they kept bumping our pet because there was lots of luggage. She ended up travelling 16 hours instead of 5 hours. I complained to the airlines and they told me luggage is more important than live animals. If the drive to Seattle is not too long I would drive down and pick up your puppy. |

| Many breeder will not ship a puppy by plane, that should give you a hint. Drive, for both your anxiety and the puppy's safety. |

| I personally think having a puppy shipped causes them so much stress. Since our babies are so little and fragile I think it just makes it even worse for them. I would search for a closer breeder or drive to get your new furbaby IMO
